How to Harness the Power of Your Energy and Emotions In A Way That Will Change Your Life Forever.

This last week has been full of powerful energy; it's eclipse season, and boy, have I felt it! Emotional waves, tiredness, headaches, doubt, shadows surfacing that have been buried for a long time, bringing self-doubt and then the evidence that expansion is imminent. It has felt incredibly turbulent for me, but I understand there are deep emotions and energies within me that need to be released.

The intensity in the air, the emotional waves, the sense that something big is shifting? Right now, we are in a time of huge energetic movement, influenced not just by personal and collective transformation but also by the cosmic forces at play, the lunar cycles, planetary shifts, and eclipse season.


Instead of feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in old patterns, you can learn to work with your energy, moving through these shifts with greater awareness, ease, and alignment. Here’s how.


1. Acknowledge What You’re Feeling (Without Judgment)


The first step in working with your energy is simply noticing. Many of us push past discomfort, numb out, or try to “power through,” but your emotions and energy are messengers, not obstacles.


Take a moment to check in:

  • What emotions are surfacing?

  • What physical sensations are present? (Tension, heaviness, lightness, openness?)

  • What patterns or thoughts are repeating?


Rather than judging yourself for feeling tired, anxious, or restless, simply acknowledge it. Awareness alone is powerful, it stops you from unconsciously reacting and allows you to respond with intention.


2. Honour Your Energy Instead of Fighting It


Not every day is meant for high productivity or deep introspection. Some days, your energy is high and expansive; other days, it’s low and inward-focused. Both are valid.


If you’re feeling drained, instead of forcing yourself to “push through,” ask:

  • What does my body need right now? (Rest, movement, hydration?)

  • What would feel supportive? (Silence, music, fresh air?)

  • Where can I soften and allow?


Honouring your natural rhythm doesn’t mean giving up on your goals, it means working with your energy instead of against it.


3. Move Stagnant Energy Through Your Body


Energy isn’t just a mental or emotional experience, it’s also physical. When energy gets stuck, you might feel restless, sluggish, or emotionally heavy. Movement helps shift and release what’s built up.


Try:

  • Breathwork – A few deep, intentional breaths can shift your entire state.

  • Gentle movement – Stretching, walking, or shaking out your body can release tension.

  • Sound or vibration – Humming, singing, or listening to music that resonates with your mood can move energy in a powerful way.


Even small shifts in your physical body can create big shifts in your emotional and energetic state.


4. Release What No Longer Feels Aligned


Big energy shifts often bring old emotions, limiting beliefs, and outdated patterns to the surface, not to punish you, but to help you recognise what’s ready to be released.


If something feels heavy, ask yourself:

  • Am I holding onto something that no longer serves me?

  • Is this mine, or am I carrying energy that doesn’t belong to me?

  • What would it feel like to let this go?


You don’t have to have all the answers, just being willing to release can create an opening for something new.


5. Align with Your True Self


Shifts aren’t just about what’s leaving, they’re also about what’s emerging. When you release old patterns, you create space for deeper clarity, purpose, and alignment.


Ask yourself:

  • What is my energy naturally pulling me toward?

  • What feels exciting, expansive, or meaningful right now?

  • How can I take one small action today that aligns with that?

6. Trust the Process

You are constantly evolving, and your energy is always shifting. Instead of letting it overwhelm you, make it your ally.


Acknowledge what you’re feeling.

  • Honour your energy instead of forcing it.

  • Move stagnant emotions through breath, movement, or sound.

  • Release what no longer serves you.

  • Align with what feels true and right for you.

  • Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.

  • I felt a physical shift and release
